Marinara Sauce
This is a quick and easy sweet marinara sauce, ready in just 15 minutes! I like my sauce sweet because after all a tomato is a fruit, right? Kids also love this sauce because of the sweetness.

- 1 Medium Sauce Pan
Ingredients
- 1 -14.5 oz can Tomato Sauce (low sodium or no sodium)
- 1 -14.5 oz can Tomatoes, diced (low sodium or no sodium)
- 1-2 TBSP Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Basil, dried
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried
- 1 ½ tsp Garlic, granulated
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan.
- Heat on medium to medium high heat. Bring to a slight boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer about 10-15 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasonings accordingly.
- Serve when heated through.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

***If you like a thicker sauce, just add 2 Tbsp of tomato paste and add about 10 minutes to the cook time to allow the liquid to evaporate.
