Pizza Sauce
This is a quick and easy pizza sauce recipe! In less than 30 minutes, you can have a delicious base for a pizza dinner! The addition of maple syrup as a sweetener makes this a favorite of kids! Make a double batch and freeze half for a quick future meal.

Ingredients
- 1 -15 oz can Tomato Sauce, (low salt or no salt)
- 2-3 TBSP Tomato Paste (low salt or no salt)
- 1-2 tsp Garlic, granulated (can sub 2 cloves minced garlic)
- 2 tsp Basil, dried
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried
- 1 ½ tsp Onion, granulated
- 1-2 tsp Maple Syrup
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper (reduce to 1/8 tsp if desired)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and mix well to combine.
- Heat over a medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is heated through.
- Serve immediately or cool an refrigerate for up to 5 days.

****This recipe is freezer friendly, so make a double batch and freeze some for future use! The sauce will keep in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 3 months!
