Sweet and Tangy BBQ sauce

This sauce can be made in as little as 5 minutes! Sweet, smoky and delicious! Make a double batch and use it for another dish during your busy week! So many ways to use this sauce! BBQ Sandwiches (use jackfruit, lentils, cauliflower or tofu!) Great as a veggie burger sauce too!

  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl


  • 1 C Ketchup (I prefer organic, low–>no salt and no sugar)
  • 2-3 TBSP Maple Syrup (start with 2 TBSP and adjust as desired)
  • 1 TBSP Molasses
  • 1 TBSP White vinegar
  • 1 TBSP Vegan Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TBSP Tamari Sauce (I use low sodium, gluten free)
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke


  • Add all of the ingredients to the mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Your sauce is ready to use!
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.

One sauce, so many options! This sauce comes together in 5 minutes and can be used to make BBQ Sandwiches, wraps or mixed with vegetables as a sweet and tangy sauce! The possibilities are endless!
