Vinegar Coleslaw

This vinegar style coleslaw is great as a stand alone side or as a topper for any barbecue sandwich you choose! I love the added flavor of the celery seeds!

  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl
  • 1 -1 Cup Glass Measuring Cup


  • 1 -12 oz bag Coleslaw

Dressing Ingredients

  • C White Vinegar
  • 2-3 TBSP Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp Celery Seed (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper


  • To a medium mixing bowl, add your washed, rinsed and drained coleslaw.
  • To your 1 C glass measuring cup, add the remaining ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  • Pour your dressing mixture over the coleslaw. Mix well. You can serve immediately or allow it to sit and marinate for an hour or two if you like.


***Possible add-ins:
         1/4 C Sunflower seeds
          1/4 C Pepitas
          1/4 Small Red onion, diced
***Use as a topping for your barbecue sandwiches!

Using a store bought coleslaw mix, this salad comes together in less than 5 minutes! Great as a side or as a topping!
